The Perseverance Mars rover pictures its personal touchdown particles

On Mars, there’s a distinctive kind of “tumbleweed” rolling across the Martian plains.

These tumbleweeds aren’t vegetation, they’re items of particles from the entry, descent and touchdown (EDL) {hardware} of NASA’s Perseverance Rover. Percy has come throughout many of those stays, photographing them so the engineers can research them.
